Berry Bros. & Rudd Glenlossie 2013 is a Speyside single malt from the Glenlossie Distillery in Elgin, Morayshire, bottled by the independent bottler Berry Bros & Rudd as a small batch release.
Distilled in 2013, the whisky matured in hogshead casks referenced 6136, 6137 and 6138 before being bottled in 2023. The casks were combined to create this small batch expression, highlighting Glenlossie’s elegant Speyside character. Bottled at 46% ABV, the whisky is non chill filtered and presented with natural colour. This limited batch release consists of 856 bottles.
Nose
A fresh and fruit-forward nose opens with crisp orchard fruits, especially apples and pears, accompanied by hints of spiced vanilla and soft honey. Subtle notes of green sweets and light floral tones add further complexity.
Palate
The palate is lively and well balanced, revealing flavours of apple and pear layered with honey, caramel and gentle baking spices. A touch of clove spice and sweet malt adds warmth and structure.
Finish
Medium to long in length, with lingering notes of sweet fruit, soft oak spice and a delicate cereal sweetness.
