THE PROCESS

This single cask whiskey was distilled in 2008 on the Orkney Islands, and matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead (barrel no. 9) before being bottled in 2023. This independent release from Berry Bros. & Rudd consists of only 116 bottles, and is bottled at cask strength of 58.1% alc.

TASTE PROFILE

Seductive herbal peat smoke rises from the glass and transports you to deeper aromas of turf, honey, wax and overripe orange. The palate is beautifully structured and shows waves of citrus, smoke, more honey, peat bogs and leather. More earthy smoke lingers in the aftertaste, with hints of soft fruit and herbs.
