Berry Bros. & Rudd Glen Spey 2009 is a 14-year-old Speyside single malt from the Glen Spey Distillery, released as part of the Glens and Valleys series by the independent bottler Berry Bros. & Rudd.
Distilled in 2009, the whisky matured in hogshead No. 804619 and was bottled in 2024 at natural cask strength of 55% ABV. It is non chill filtered and bottled without added colouring. This is a limited single cask release of 267 bottles.
Reminiscent of a walk through a pine forest after rainfall, the nose offers fresh notes intertwined with hints of grass, lemon and ripe peaches.
On the palate, nutty and rich undertones emerge, adding depth and structure.
The finish is soft and rounded, with a subtle and lingering touch of spice.
