Berry Bros & Rudd - Linkwood 2008

THE PROCESS

This whisky is a single cask from Craft
Spirits Company to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. The whisky
comes from the Linkwood Distillery, which was founded
in 1821. Visitors to the distillery can admire not only
the impressive stills but also the ducks and swans that
swim in the waters surrounding the distillery. This
whisky is 17 years old and has been finished for at least two years
in PX casks.

TASTE PROFILE

Sumptuous and layered, the nose opens with a burst of red berries that ease into raisin loaf and treacle tart, while a delicate note of lime zest cuts through the richness to add a bright twist. The palate unfolds with sticky toffee and fig jam, laced with a dusting of clove, as soft dried oak and roasted nuts lend warmth and depth. The finish lingers with dried fruits and a whisper of menthol, tapering off with a quiet confidence.
