This single cask whisky was distilled in 2010 at Linkwood Distillery, one of Speyside’s most respected yet understated distilleries. Founded in 1821 near Elgin, Linkwood is renowned for producing elegant and fruit-forward spirits that have long been prized by blenders and independent bottlers alike.
For this release, Berry Bros. & Rudd selected Hogshead Cask No. 301246, in which the whisky matured for 13 years. Bottled in 2023 as a single cask expression, it showcases the refined and delicate character for which Linkwood is known.
Presented at 52.5% ABV, without chill filtration and with no added colouring, this bottling offers an authentic expression of Linkwood’s classic Speyside style.
On the nose, fresh aromas of orchard fruits, honey and vanilla are complemented by delicate floral notes and soft oak.
The palate is elegant and well-balanced, revealing layers of ripe pear, apple, creamy malt and gentle spice.
The finish is long and refined, with lingering notes of vanilla, fruit sweetness and subtle oak.
