Viltaine comes from the spectacularly rocky Kildalton shorelines to the southern tip of Islay, known for its rugged beauty and iconic South Islay whiskies. Islay is part of the Inner Hebrides, a group of islands in the North Atlantic Ocean and home to some of the most iconic, recognisable flavours in the world of whisky.

TASTE PROFILE

The scents of coastal smoke, damp turf, and rich, dried fruits greet the nose. On the palate, the influence of Oloroso casks is evident, bringing forward lush new sherry notes and roasted nuts. The experience culminates in an endlessly smoky, sweet exit with a subtle hint of maritime brine.
