THE PROCESS

The barley malt and rye for this whisky go together in the fermentation vat. The resulting ‘wash’ goes into the still. Cley Malt & Rye is therefore not a blend of malt whisky and rye whisky. Matured in bourbon barrels, finished in quarter casks of new American oak. There is a Malt & Rye and a Malt & Rye Cask Strength.

TASTE PROFILE

For those who like whisky with its own character. Notes of brown bread, raisins, apricot, coconut and vanilla. Spicy.
