Blackcurrant from Burgundy is an old variety of blackcurrant and essential in France. Appreciated for its firm fruits with a great aromatic richness, the Burgundy blackcurrant is one of the best varieties known for its taste and good vitamin C content.

TASTE PROFILE

Deep purplish-blue in colour with garnet-red highlights, offering an aroma of ripe blackcurrant fruit lifted by a subtle vegetal note typical of blackcurrant buds. On the palate, the taste is rich and intensely fruity, showcasing concentrated blackcurrant berry flavours enhanced by the distinctive character of the buds.
