NCNEAN - Lemon Meadow

THE PROCESS

Nc’nean continues to push boundaries and redefine what Scotch whisky can be. Their latest seasonal release, Huntress: Lemon Meadow, is a fresh, floral ode to spring, perfectly captured in a glass. This 2025 edition of the Huntress series is all about innovative craftsmanship in fermentation, for which Nc’nean chose a yeast strain typically used in the making of French sparkling wine.

TASTE PROFILE

This release, Lemon Meadow, heroes our passion for fermentation experiments. The buttery, citrusy, biscuity notes come from our use of a yeast derived from French sparkling wine production. When matured in our house style casks, the result is a creamy, delicious and slightly floral whisky, with flavours of lemon sorbet, fresh chamomile and all butter shortbread.
