NCNEAN single malt whisky rum cask bio

THE PROCESS

In February we travelled to Scotland to visit the Nc'nean distillery.

Our mission was to find the very first single cask that is 100% intended for the Dutch market.

And we succeeded!
We found a special barrel: an old Madeira barrel, in which, after having stored Madeira for years, rum had also matured for years.

This barrel was then filled with the new make spirit of Nc'nean in 2018, to be bottled in 2025, after we chose it as our favourite from a selection of six different whiskies.

So now everyone can enjoy this very unique Nc'nean!
