THE PROCESS

A true taste of the Black Forest, through and through. Our master distiller, Wendelin Baumann, has dedicated himself to this and added the treetop to the famous Needle Gin. Wendelin’s masterpiece is hand-brewed, starting with the spruce harvest, and distilled in a single-batch process on copper stills in the Black Forest.

TASTE PROFILE

With an increased alcohol content of 45%, the Needle Masterpiece offers optimal mixability for long drinks and cocktails in bars and restaurants. The well-known and popular botanicals from the Needle Gin – hand-picked Black Forest spruce needles, sun-ripened citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons, floral lavender, spicy cinnamon, hot ginger, and oriental allspice – have been increased in intensity by 200% for the Masterpiece compared to the Needle Gin, thus highlighting it more clearly. They give the Masterpiece a robust, spicy character that is second to none.
