THE PROCESS

Takamaka Grankaz 2 tells the story of Seychelles craftsmanship meeting Caribbean heritage. Made from fresh Seychelles sugarcane juice and distilled in a traditional pot still, it is aged for up to 42 months in new, medium-charred French oak barrels. It is then blended with carefully selected ex-bourbon molasses rums, aged three and eight years at Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, adding depth and complexity to the final expression.

TASTE PROFILE

On the nose herbaceous and lightly floral with hints of toasted vanilla, on the palate powerful and balanced with notes of vanilla, nutmeg and candied ginger. The finish is long and warm with toasted oak.
