Admiral Rodney is a premium rum brand from Saint Lucia, produced by St. Lucia Distillers in the Roseau Valley. The brand represents the distillery’s flagship range in terms of age, depth and complexity, made entirely from continuous still rums. Its name pays tribute to Admiral George Rodney, who famously “broke the line” during the Battle of the Saints in 1782, a decisive naval battle in Caribbean history.
Crafted on a traditional twin-column Coffey still, Admiral Rodney rums are drawn from the lower plates of the still, creating a richer, more robust and expressive style. The rums are aged in oak casks, mainly ex-bourbon, before being carefully blended to create a smooth yet characterful sipping rum.
The range includes HMS Princessa, HMS Royal Oak and HMS Formidable, each named after ships connected to Admiral Rodney’s fleet. Together, they showcase the elegance of Saint Lucian rum: layered notes of dried fruit, vanilla, caramel, tobacco, tropical spice and toasted oak, with a refined balance between sweetness, structure and maturity.
